Waterfowl Hunting
Duck
hunting in Texas is never a dull hunt.
With the vast species of ducks in the area, any hunt
will be a true mixed bag hunt. With Teal, Mallards, Pintails,
Gadwalls, Hooded Mergansers, Widgeons, Red Heads and other
various species, Seidel Guide Service will be sure to show any
water fowler a great time.
There are vast
numbers geese coming to Texas each year including Snows, Blues,
and Speckle Bellies and there are even some Greater and Lesser
Canadian Geese. Years and years ago as farmers began to convert
the Texas Gulf Coast Prairie to rice farming, waterfowl
enthusiasts began to recognize the superior hunting that
exists in Texas. Not only do the rice fields attract waterfowl,
but so do the coastal bays and marshes and Texas is now
recognized as wintering the largest population of geese in the
United States and Canada. We invite you to come and experience
this awesome hunting experience.
